Robbie Gilligan

Robbie Gilligan is Professor of Social Work and Social Policy at Trinity College Dublin. With an extensive history of research in the area of children in care, Robbie is a registered social worker and was the founding head of the School of Social Work and Social Policy at Trinity College Dublin.

Janet Boddy

Janet Boddy is Professor of Childhood, Youth and Family Studies at the University of Sussex, and an Adjunct Professor in the Childhood, Family and Welfare Division of NOVA at OsloMet University. Sarah Parker

Sarah works at the Centre for Health Policy and Management at Trinity College Dublin’s School of Medicine. She has significant experience leading research projects and teams, especially using methods that focus on understanding complex problems. Her research focuses on a wide range of issues related to health, homelessness and social care and she is passionate about creating changes in services and policies to make a real difference in people’s lives.

Stephanie Holt

Stephanie Holt is a Professor of Social Work with a robust background in social work practice and research across a variety of settings including residential child care, child protection and family support, Stephanie joined the School of Social Work & Social Policy in 2000 as a lecturer in social work.

Eavan Brady

Eavan is a lecturer in social work in Trinity College Dublin. Eavan’s research is mainly focused on understanding the long term experiences of adults who spent time in out of home care in as children / young people.

Neal Halforty

Neal is a Research Fellow in Trinity’s School of Social Work and Social Policy. Having recently completed his PhD is Queen’s University Belfast, he is the newest member of the team. His research was interdisciplinary with a focus on migrant identity formation and social integration. He has experience using various methodologies including qualitative interviews, ethnographic fieldwork and spatial analysis.
